How to care for hair systems made of synthetic hair?

Only a clean wig looks natural. The hair looks soft and smooth and retains its shape.
We recommend that you wash your wig - if you wear it on a daily basis - once a week.

    DON'TS!

    • wash in hot water
    • wring, rub and so on when wet or damp
    • brush when wet or damp
    • dry or style with hair dryer, drying hood, curling irons and other devices radiating heat
    • pull on the hair
    • using styling products that fixate the hair too much (e. g. hair lacquer, hairspray and so on)

    DO'S!

    • regular washing of the wig (once a week)
    • soak in warm water and shampoo for synthetic hair for at least 30 minutes
    • use balm for synthetic hair
    • air-dry
    • style dry hair system (fluff up, comb, brush and so on)

    • put on a wig stand so that the hair system can dry properly
    • styro heads are not suitable for drying

    • ATTENTION: Do not dry or style with hair dryer, drying hood, curling irons and other devices radiating heat.

    Synthetic Hair Systems and Heat

Possible sources of heat which can damage synthetic hair fibers:

    • hair dryer, drying hood, curling iron, hair straightener and so on
    • in the kitchen - hot vapors from cooking pots, the oven, the dishwasher and so on
    • in everyday life: lights, candles, grill, campfires, radiant heaters in bars and so on

    Brushing Synthetic Hair Systems

Please use combs and brushes without sharp edges when brushing your hair system. Extra wide-toothed combs are particularly well-suited for long or curly hair. If the hair is tangled, you can untangle the knots with your fingers.

Styling and Care Products for Synthetic Hair

Please use care and styling products specifically developed for hair systems. Hairspray, hair lacquer,  gels, waxes and so on for normal hair build a whitish film on synthetic hair which can only be removed with difficulty.
